Many are frustrated and disappointed because they are unaware that life is both how you make it and how you take it.

Scripture Reading

Psalms 42

My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance (Psalms 42:3, 5 KJV)

Exhortation

It is important to note that no matter how well you prepare to make it in life, life has a way of dishing out the unexpected to us all. We must prepare to cope with what life is throwing at us.

What you are going through may be challenging or difficult but you can improve the quality of your life when you learn how to take it well. To effectively deal with life’s challenges you must do the following;

  1. Trust in the loving-kindness of God (psalm42:7):

Indeed, all things will work to your good because you love God and are called according to His purpose. You will cope better when you learn to trust in God’s mercy, grace and loving-kindness. God is faithful and gracious; He will never leave nor forsake you.

  1. Let his song be with you at night:

An atmosphere of worship or anointed music drives away the demons of discouragement. When we learn to worship, we learn to soar above challenges. Worship lifts up the spirit and quickens us.

  1. Let your prayers go up to the Lord your God:

Prayer is one of the effective ways of handling the unexpected.

  1. But if you find more than three of the following signs in your life, seek professional help;
  • When you are unable to love or receive love from others
  • When you cry and shed tears day and night
  • When you are unable to eat or when you eat too much
  • When you feel everybody is against you
  • When you are unable to sleep
  • When you swing between feeling downcast and anxious

God bless you and hope to connect with you here more often. I love you, stay blessed
