[14] “And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. [15] But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities”.
[16] “And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed”.
[17] “And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them”.
There is only one thing that can make a man whole and totally recovered; that is the power of God. It is only the power of God that heals and totally restores.
We can access this power by (1) hearing the testimony of others and of the fame of the Lord, (2) coming to hear the gospel and the word, which is the power of the Lord to save, and (3) coming with an expectation to be healed by anointing with oil and the prayer of faith.
Indeed, my preaching, prayer, anointing with oil and laying on of hands will heal and deliver you; but you can maintain this healing and liberation by doing the following;
1. Learn to stay in an atmosphere of the word;
Proverbs 4:22 teaches that the word of the Lord is healing to the bone and marrow of all those who find it. The Bible tells us in Psalm 107:18-19, that when the souls of Israel abhorred meat, they cried out to the Lord. They prayed for deliverance, and the Lord responded by sending His word to heal them.
Healing is in the wings of the word. The word is Jesus Christ. Remember that after the prayer meeting, if God wants to heal and restore you, He will send His word. Psalm 1:1-3 teaches that those who meditate on the word day and night become fruitful. You will maintain your healing and deliverance if you stay in an atmosphere of the word, the active prophetic word. So;
- Read the word
- Listen to the podacst
- Soak in Christian music
2. Learn to lift up the cup of His salvation and offer the sacrifice of thankgivings:
We must offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and to declare His works with rejoicing.
[Psalm 107:21-22 KJV] “Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! [22] And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing”.
We must tell of His mighty and wondrous works among the nations.
3. Finally, begin to serve the Lord under His servants, the prophet:
Luke 8:1-4 teaches that women, our of whom the Lord cast out evil spirits, followed and ministered their substance. Psalm 105:12-17 teaches that the Lord will suffer no man to do His prophets and servants harm. You will dwell in safety as you follow to serve. I pray that you will walk in total recovery.
God is not only interested in healing and liberating you, He wants you to walk in divine health and total liberation. You shall not be sick. You shall be liberated and restored in the name of Jesus Christ! Stay blessed!
