Why Should You Build up Yourself on Your Most Holy Faith?

“But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ… ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.”

To build up yourself on your most holy faith is to exercise yourself unto godliness: train your mind through reading, train your conscience through integrity, and train your spirit by praying in tongues.

Benefits: it helps you survive mockery (as Job did); it prepares you when life deals with you alone (as Joseph did); it prepares you to respond well under pressure (as Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did); and it makes more things possible, since all things are possible to him that believes.
